Beautiful view, plan on a drive, pref. with 4x4. Might bring a picnic lunch. Elev ~4990. First cache placed; had my 3 kids help out.
You can reach the access road through the gate on Silverado Canyon Rd.
My apologies for the container, as it appears to have severely irritated one reviewer. Due to the family-oriented nature of the activity, unbiased inclusion of children in the selection process (within reason) for contents, containers, placement, etc. is, in my point of view, important. The log, for instance, was enthusiastically provided by my 5 year old.
Also, kids do read these reviews. Thanks to all that provide the kind remarks.
