Mr Ed venture Cache (GCWBFK) was once lost and now has been found.
His long time friend "Miss Candice B.
DePlace" has now gone astray. Located in the area of
Hinckston Run Dam, she sits patiently, waiting to be located just
as her close friend had.
Hinckston Run is a high-gradient stream originating in the
mountainous terrain along Route 22 in Jackson Township. It flows
10.6 miles to the Johnstown neighborhood of Minersville, where it
enters the main stem of the Conemaugh River. Its course is
interrupted by Hinckston Run Dam, a large reservoir owned and
operated by the Cambria Somerset Authority. The dam has an abundant
variety of fish and wildlife that provides excitement to all ages.
About a 2-mile section immediately upstream of the dam is stocked
in-season by the Fish & Boat Commission.
The dam and stream are accessible by several township roads, but
I would suggest to take Hinckston Run Road off of route 271 in East
Taylor Township as your starting access point.
REMINDER: The bridge to cross
over the breast of the dam from waterfall Road in Middle Taylor
Township, has been closed and no vehicle access is permitted.
"Please abide by all posted
regulations, Please stay off the breast area of the
dam You will be looking for a well stocked and well
hidden 30 cal. Ammo can.
I have included a Very nice FTF Prize for that first lucky
cacher.
