Easy access and terrain. A real grab and cache
Built in 1976, Watsonville's current public library (it's 2nd) was built at a cost of $860,000. Over the years many changes have been made to keep the library in step with newer and better equipped facilities. Currently, work is progressing on what is to become Watsonville's 3rd library. It will be located in the new government building being constructed across Main St. from the Plaza. Our first library was completed in 1905 and was built using a $10,000 Carnegie grant. This took place in many small towns across the country around the turn of the century.
So...if you are looking to do a little LIGHT reading, stop by the library.
