Cache is hidden at the main swimming area in Behana Gorge, just below the water intake.
Cache is a 3km walk along an access road (no cars allowed), then a short swim across Behana ck and scramble to the caceh site.
From the Bruce Highway, turn West at Behana Gorge Road (just south of Walsh's Pyramid). Drive to the end of the road where the main carpark is. Walk along the 3km access road which follows the water pipeline. Turn left towards the creek just before reaching the main locked gates at the water intake. Scramble down to the creek and find a lovely pool with many waterfalls flowing into it. When looking towards these many waterfalls and water intake structure at the top, look up and left and notice the largest gum tree in the area. Swim across the creek and climb carefully up the rock ramp to just below a 3m cliff at the edge of the rainforest. Turn right and follow the base of this vertical cliffline to the base of the big gum tree. Cache is hidden in a 2L clear container with green lid under the roots of this magnificent tree. Take care with the climb and look for the easiest route.
