Playing Pick Up Sticks



While we were out wandering the park hiding these caches we took numerous breaks including one nearby. Cooky was leaning on his walking stick one minute and hurrying along to catch up to the Sierra Nevada Kid and I the next. He left his walking stick near where the final stash is located. Since we had to go back we decided to place a cache and take another well deserved rest ;)

This is your straight-forward numerous stage multi. The opening stages are *larger* than 35mm film cans and not too well hidden. They are hidden in geobeacons relatively close to the main trails and you should *not* tear the beacons apart searching for and rehiding them nor should you attempt to make it impossible for the next cacher to find them.

This is one of the five permanent caches we placed for the MnGCA Cannonball Wilderness Run! The cache container is a cammo painted, Fleet Farm issued, .50 cal ammo box. It's filled with numerous trinkets that no one really wants.

The terrain ratings are high only for walking distance required. You will not have to do any craziness to find these caches but I do ask that you rehide the cache as well as or better than you found it to keep it fun for those that come after you.

Inside you may find a codeword required for the MnGCA Cannonball Wilderness Run. If you are not competing in the event on 6/10/06, you can ignore the code, otherwise, please do make sure you have it when you get back to the staging area in order to be eligible for prizes!
