Geocache Description:

Another cache brought to you by a member of the USCGA






The North Spartanburg Sports Complex is part of Spartanburg County Parks and Recreation. It has tennis courts, softball fields, a small walking track and even a BMX racing track. This sports complex is also the new home of Miracle Park, the home field of the Carolina Miracle League.



Parking: There is plenty of parking, but it's best to park near the starting coordinates, as they are the closest to the "trail"

The Terrain:It's a relatively easy walk through the woods, but beware that there are briars, poison plants, lots of weeds and small biting critters such as spiders, ticks and mosquitos. Long pants are advised, especially during the summer months.

Difficulty: This is a pretty easy cache, but there can be LOTS of muggles nearby at times. If there is a BMX race going on, it just might be impossible to slip in without being watched. Other times you will be the only person in the park.

The Container: The container is a .50 cal ammo box, labeled with green "Geocache" sitckers. Nothing unique about the hiding method. I hid it from muggles, not geocachers. It's just covered in natural camo and out of the way of normal traffic. It is, however, stuffed with lots of nice goodies! Inside is a logbook with a couple of pens, a bag for the coins and travel bugs and two bags of trade items. Please be kind to the cache, and always trade even or up. If by chance you find unactivated geocoins in this cache, please only take one per cacher/team. Occasionally, I stop by and put in a few of my personal geocoins for the next finders. Please leave something of equal value if you take a coin, but by all means, please take one of you find one. :o)
