Located in North Hanover Twp recreation area. Easy to find, just walk, stalk, then log! Be careful of thorns! Brush has grown since cache was first placed! Please be warned bushwhacking may be required.

This cache is dedicated to my dog Strider whom I had as a kid and died on rt. 537 10yrs ago. One gloomy, rainy evening in July, just after the family had gotten back from vacation, we decided to let Strider out of the house. The normal routine was to let him out, do his business, then bring him in. Usually, he would go snooping around the fields afterwards then come back. This night was different. My mom and I decided to get milk at WaWa, just before she left the house and before we let him out, she said Strider looked at her very strangely. It was as if he was saying goodbye, that he knew something was happening or about to happen. Strider was old, moved slow, and displayed all of the features an old dog would. We then left the driveway to go to Wawa and it was then just a few hundred feet, there he lay dead. I screamed and shouted and couldn't believe who in their own right mind would hit a dog, and continue to drive without attempting to contact the owners. Only in NJ I guess. Being 14 at the time I took the loss pretty hard, we all did. Strider was the first family pet we had for 8yrs or so. His time was near however, it sucked to see him go that way. Since then we have adopted a new pet, Samson is his name a pure bred golden lab. We have had Samson for about 6yrs now, he is a nut, but nothing compared to Strider, my first dog. RIP buddy.
