Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the only lighthouse on the island. The trail begins at the National Guard Headquarters 210th Regiment at Estate Ham’s Bluff Frederiksted. There is available parking inside. Walk to the rear of the building to the visible trail, which begins with a bridge. The hike to the lighthouse is a well-defined path. The terrain is a steadily rising slope with trees on both sides. Once at the top of the hill, follow the stairs to the lighthouse.

This cache is stored in a black and rust tubular, magnetic container made from PVC pipe. The contents of this cache are of historical and cultural significance. It contains a keychain made from mahogany that commemorates the 175th Anniversary of Emancipation on St. Croix in 1848, a Freedom City mahogany magnet, a Moko Jumbie keychain, and a Jan Mitchell Sugar Mill magnet. It also contains a log book, two pens, a pencil, and a sharpener.
