Geocache Description:

Located within the rocks along one of the most scenic points along Buzzards Bay.

The cache was originally placed for members of the Coalition for Buzzards Bay (www.savebuzzardsbay.org) to experience geocaching. Now its open to all geocachers. The original container apparently was damaged in a recent storm, so I've replaced the container (flat rubbermaid with red cover) and contents.

Beware of muggles as this is a popular park. Be stealthy! Also please place the container in the location you found it and cover it well with rocks (not so much for camoflage, but to keep it in place when it gets stormy). I've put the contents and log books in zip lock bags, so please replace the bags and seal them well. Thanks!

Take the family and a picnic lunch when you look for this cache as there are plenty of tables and benches near the cache. Bring a kite! The winds off of the point are phenominal! There are also a series of bike trails as well.

As you stand on the point, looking south, behind you is the Clarks Point Light which sits atop Fort Tabor, and off to the east is the Butler Flats Lighthouse.

Enjoy the view and take in the salty air!
