In Athens, OH. The cache is in the deep woods behind the Ridges near the Turtle Run Creek. Access from Turtle Run neighborhood. Follows gas pipeline.
Welcome to the Ghosts of Turtle Run. This cache will take you deep into the woods behind The Ridges, the former Athens Mental Hospital known as being quite haunted. Access to this cache is from the Turtle Run subdivision. Take Rt. 682 towards The Plains. Take Rt. 56 South for about 3/4 mile and Turn on Elliotsville Rd. Stay to the right and take 1st left on Windsong. Follow Windsong to the end and park in cul-de-sac. Access to the woods is straight up the hill along the gas pipeline. Parking is at N 39 19.203 W 082 7.796
Cache is a small green and white tackle box with some kids toys, golf balls, and 3 geobugs we have collected. Neighbors have been informed and are OK but please - no night caching on this one!!
