Cache is hidden on the Dike in Bernville. The Dike prevents the Northkill Creek, which feeds the Blue Marsh Lake, from flooding Route 183 and the town of Bernville. Many people use this level gravel road for walking or running.
You can park by pulling off of Route 183 at N 40’ 26.147’, W 076’06’954, just do not block the gate. Parking is also located at the St. Thomas Church parking lot across the street. Just use caution when crossing Route 183. The cache is hidden approximately .25 miles down the path. From the path you will see the town of Bernville, the back of the Heidelberg Country Club Golf Course and what used to be the Blue Marsh Ski Area. You will quickly see how this cache gets it name. The cache is an ammo can filled with fun summer items for the whole family purchased from Target. Please remember to trade up or equal or don’t trade at all.
