Geocache Description:

A fun little Multi along Mill Creek. LOL

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!!

This Cache is located in Weatherhill Park, a little almost unknown park. Access is just off Mermaid-Stoney Batter Rd.. It is a very scenic area nestled in heavily populated New Castle County. Thank heaven for Open Space requirements, the developers I know would have gladly built and built and then built some more. This Cache lies along Mill Creek and a couple of its small tributaries.

************Well!!!!! Well (again), after Mike Ott's little note, see below, I have to add that I thought my second paragraph was pretty much a discalimer notice, see second paragraph directly below. But I guess mike doesn't think so. So....... DISCLAIMER.. (updated daily)If you try this cache "HILLSIDE" you assume all risks involved, thats right EVERY SINGLE RISK!!!!!! Some of which may include, well, dangerous things....... Most of which are mentioned in the paragraph below. Add to this list : Wasp's, the insect, not to be confused with WASPs ( figure it out on your own or ask JillAlexandria... She be one). Sliperry logs, rain, hail, Muggles asking silly questions ( think of your beast lie... i.e. I'm looking for a place to stash a body.) Also in assuming all these risks you are aware you could be doing something safe, cutting the grass for example (I think about 150,000 people were injured cutting their grass or doing lawn work last year )
Or just kicking back.... Thats it. I claim no resposibility for your actions and you undertake them of your own free will, good luck. RF

And now for the good part, it features some of the fun things that you all have come to expect and love from my Multi-caches. Lousy, even crappy and iffy satellite reception, stickers, sharp pointy plants, thorns, small insects that want to bite and suck your blood, some fly others just attach themselves until they are full, I can’t wait for Instant Coffee’s Tick report… (if you see a naked guy in the woods have no fear its just Instant Coffee checking for Ticks, so he claims), bushwhacking, getting lost, wondering about the sanity of the Cache Owner and your own for doing this, wandering around aimlessly, sometimes poor trails, even very poor trails, I hear it now “You call THAT a trail”, Yup, some on the fly deciphering of hints, (take pen/pencil and paper). Let’s see what have I forgotten? Creek crossings, yeah, three or six depending on how you count it, to me across and back is one, for some of you each time you cross you may count as one, so……. Anything else? Oh yeah two, yes two parking locations. None of that park as close to the Cache as you can get garbage here. You have to decide which place to park. But I can tell you the walk is about the same distance from either parking location. Trust me.

Parking lot 1 N 39. 44.856 W 075 41.124

Parking lot 2 N 39 44.742 W 075 40.850

Which one will you choose?

Stop #1 is DEAD
N 39 44.696
W 075 41.105

The names for the other stops are as follows:
#2 The Wall, #3 Hillside, #4 Magnetic and then the bounty THE CACHE ITSELF. The FTF guy said the Cache was well hidden, as if his hides are easy.

And again don’t forget you’ll need a pen/pencil and paper. At the first couple of stops you’ll need them to do on the fly deciphering to get to the next stop. The first stop features a little cypher of my own making, it ain’t to hard, it closely resembles the one we use to decipher hints, except it uses numbers. If I can ever figure out how to really use a computer I’ll post it, correctly…. Here is a weak attempt, Don’t worry I included a key at the stop.

0 1 2 3 4
9 8 7 6 5

So if I said the cords were 60 55.606.. that would work out to 39 44.696.

At stops three and four I post the Coords in a more normal fashion, I think.

And, since I am the owner I have a few requirements for you, the Cachers:
Write about your adventure.. None of this, “Got there found it in five minutes left a nickel signed Log”;
At or about N 39 44.603 W 075 41.100 this is between stops 2 and 3, you’ll find something in the middle of the trail, email me with what you think it is, failure to do so could mean I delete your log (or write a really GREAT write up on your adventure and I may forgive you);

Please… PLEASE replace all hint containers as you found them, make it tough on the next guy too. Also please be sure to replace the fourth hint….. thingy with the printing side out so it doesn’t get scratched off.

As for the hint containers themselves, the first three are similar to the ones I used at the Smithmill Devil and Mixed Up Multi in Da’ Park, they are just smaller and camouflaged. They measure from ¾ to 1 inch in diameter and are about three inches long (talk about micros in the woods) the third is about 1X2X3/8’s inches, again replace it so the print side faces out.

The Cache itself, finally, is a 50mm Ammo can camo painted (would you expect anything else) and well hidden. PLEASE BE SURE TO RE-HIDE IT WELL !!!

Inside you’ll find;
For the FTF a special reward for your hard work.. a Starbuck’s Gift card plus three hat pins: one FTF hatpin the other two are replica benchmark pins, COOL.
A computer game, yes it works and is new,
Squishy Frogs,
Another Benchmark pin,
An unregistered Travel Bug Dog tag,
Stickers, no not the kind you have encountered in your search
A set of batteries should you need them
And other goodies……

Let the fun begin.

And one last thing, yeah I know, I know…BLAHHHHH BLAHHHHH BLAH. There is a a trailhead of sorts a between stop 2 and three. You may find it at or about, in the vicinity of these Coords N 39 44.686 W 075 40.935. There is a tree next to the paved trail, yes there are lots of trees next to the paved trail, but this tree has an orange paintball splotch on it. Also I have put two small pink survey tape markers in the trees along this path. Continue along it until you reach the creek, cross the creek and there you will find a REAL trail.

Now I am done, I hope……………..

Nope. I've posted some photos. Here are some tips. The "wall" I show ain't "THE WALL", "AHHHH... A Trail leads to the wall stop. The Oka and Beech tree photos are at the third stop. These photos may or may not help, that was my mission. Say what? Yeah, that's right.

383-9761 should you need assistance, but don't count on to much.
