Geocache Description:

Best place to park off Hwy 84 in Rio Chama is 36.08.560N 106.10.137W (X marks the spot.) Terrain is a three and half star because there isn't really a discernable trail up the rocky hillside. Found at altitude 5912, so a little climbing is needed. You can hike up the arroyo then up the hill or up the hillside first. Please note there is barbed wire to cross, but this is BLM land and open to cross.

This is a large-ish cache with lots of room for large trading items with lots of goodies in this cache. Any number of them could be considered a FTF find: nice little vibrating head massager, wine cork, tape measure, tees, golf balls ... toys for the kiddos. ENJOY! The additional treasure is the two faint indian ruins found at the crest of the hill near the cache. Our neighbor has found many arrowheads in the area. Please cache lightly and leave the ruins intact for others to enjoy the history. Happy hunting!

**Be sure to head north and visit two other caches in the area: Junction 23 and Mud Puddle.
