Geocache Description:

A mountain in England and Wales in generally accepted as being a hill over 2000ft (610m). As Oxfordshire’s highest point is White Horse Hill at 855ft (261m) climbing a mountain in the county is a little difficult. Or is it? This is a gentle mini series for the walkers and the Trigpointers, each cache being place on a hill top with a trig point nearby. The idea being that if you visit four top which have a combined height of over 2000ft, you have your mountain. Far fetch, but hopefully fun.

The above coordinates are for the cache itself, parking can be found virtually next to it. The Trig Point is located at N51 57.327 W001 26.035 and is 617ft (188m) above sea level. Inside the front cover of the log you will find a letter and a number which will help you find the summit.

Other caches in this series are:

Oxfordshire’s Mountain - Duns Tew
Oxfordshire’s Mountain - Lidstone
Oxfordshire’s Mountain - The Summit
