Park of the Elms Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: I noticed that this cache has remained temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of 'a few weeks' as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. For now, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact me at the below e-mail address when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

If you haven?t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

A well groomed park with a couple of nice slopes used for winter sledding. This is a winter friendly cache. A good place for geocachers with small children to come picnic and play.

This is our first cache. Elmwood park is named after the elm trees that can still be found here. In the summer it is a busy place, popular with softball and T-ball teams. Picnics and birthday parties are often held in the covered pavillion. We brought our children here while they were growing up to sled and to use the playground. We have fond memories of this small city park. The cache is a 13 oz. plastic coffee container.

This is a year-round high use area, so beware of muggles. Please hide the cache well for the next cacher and make sure the lid is sealed.
