Geocache Description:


Finding this cache will take you on a moderate hike or bike along Hecla Island's Lighthouse Trail. There are beautiful views of Lake Winnipeg, Black Island and Gull Harbour along the way. It's a good idea to take along some refreshments. Pay heed to the weather conditions while on the trail. There is good cell phone service these days. But plan to be self reliant. There are toilets about 100 meters from the lighthouse. They are of the newer variety that have been installed by Manitoba Parks.
