Easy 1 mile round trip from the Greenough Lake trailhead.
Regular ammo can stocked by the kids, including travel bug Polly. Enjoy a nice walk past Greenough lake. The lake is stocked frequently and enjoyed by a dozen or more youngsteres on most weekends. If you walk another 1/2 mile past the cache, you come out of the woods into a large open meadow that gives wonderful views of the canyon between the Beartooth and Hellroaring Plataeus. We've seen deer and moose along this trail.
The popularity of the lake makes it a good for a CITO visit.
