kootenay pirates: Where did that drive-way come from??? Some lucky person now owns the view and has improved it.
Sure is a different area then when we hid the cache.

A short steep hike with views of the New Denver Glacier, Vahalla
Park, and the Slocan Lake.
When driving West on HWY 31A between Three Forks and New Denver you
will enjoy awesome views of the New Denver Glacier. New Denver
Glacier is a place we would love to place a cache but because of
the difficulty to reach the alpine meadows at the bottom of the
glacier we are sure that the cache would never be found. It
requires boat access followed by a hike that only those with the
constitution of a mountain goat would enjoy - it gains 6540 feet
over 8.8kms. So instead we have hidden this cache where you can
stop your vehicle and take a closer look at the glacier. You will
need to park at a little pullout. Across the road you will see a
steep animal trail. Follow it a short distance to where the cache
is hidden. You will be looking for a small lock and lock container.
Don't foget to enjoy the view when opportunity allows it.
