Geocache Description:

A small cache near to Panshanger Picnic Area, just off Theives Lane in Hertford.

In the Picnic area are carved wooden figures, They were created in 1998 and are the work of Dennis Heath, a contractor for Lafarge Redland Aggregates.

When the cache was placed only the soldier remained, unfortunately the local Chavs decided that the soldier would look better as charcoal.

From the Picnic Area you get good views of the River Mimram, and the cache is also on the Chain Walk trails

The Cache location itself is a bit wooded so you may have difficulty geting a good reading
