This cache is named for a section of nearby road locally known as Devil's elbow. It is located on the last section of the Mahoning Shadow Trail south east of Punxsutawney, and can be accessed from 2 different trail heads, traveling south on 36 from the Punxsutawney Post Office you will go approx. 3.2 miles turn right on Bair Road travel approx. 1.8 miles parking and trail head on left, the cache is approx. .75 miles from here, my wife and I like this side best because of the little creek cutting a swath down the hillside, to get to the other trail head continue on 36 south from Bair road approx. 1.3 miles to the Winslow store turn right the road it is not marked but it is Winslow road, locally known as Devil's Elbow Road, go approx. .6 mile trail head and parking on right, cache is approx. .75 mile. Enjoy and have fun. Although the trail is wheelchair accessalbe I have given it a 1.5 because there is a little climb and about 60 feet of bushwacking.
