Geocache Description:

An easy park and grab in a small town with parking available for large RV's and trucks just across the street.

Once upon a time in a land far, far way called Kansas there lived a tree. Now this was a very special tree in that is was not content to be “just a tree”. It wanted to travel, it wanted to meet new people and it wanted to be decorated.

Then one day, while bushwhacking in western Kansas, a group of geocachers came across Little Tree. “This tree would make a perfect cache site!” one said. “Let’s take it to Spring Fling ’06 in Oklahoma” another said. And so Little Tree was transformed to hold a micro cache and started his travels.

In Oklahoma it had so much fun hiding with the big trees and fooling the cacher. “What great fun this is!” it thought. “Please let me travel a little more.” So the Kansas geocachers gave Little Tree to Oklahoma geocachers who took him to GeoWoodstock4. At GeoWoodstock 4 Little Tree was able to meet people from around the world, and gathered trinkets from passer bys as they went from cache to cache {or party to party.)

“All this traveling has been very thrilling”, said the Little Tree. “I enjoy the geocachers ever so much, but I really don’t want to travel anymore.” Thus Little Tree has found a home where he can read books and fool geocachers.

Little Tree’s log cache does not have room for swag trading, but he ever so much wanted to trade things, so a separate swag cache is hidden with Little Tree. You must find the log to claim the cache. If the library is open come in and see Jane, and if you ask real nice we may even let you have one of the extra books.
