Benzonia College Multi-cache

This two-stage multi-cache is located where Benzonia College once provided higher education in Northern Michigan. Now the site is a quiet city park in the heart of Benzonia along US 31.
The 2nd stage was moved and modified 4/10/08 to improve it's weatherproofing and decrease it's visibility, to the non-GPS equipped park user. The following instructions will direct you to the cache.
Stealth will be needed when retrieving the cache due to the traffic in the area. The cache is rather small and contains only a waterproof container holding the log book, and a paper clip to extract the log book. You will need your own writing utensil and it's probably not a bad idea to bring your own paper clip in case the original is lost. Proceed to the first stage and answer the following questions to determine the coordinates of the cache located at:
N 44 37.0AB, W 086 05.CDD
A = the last digit of the year Grand Traverse College was chartered, plus the number of families that traveled with Rev. Bailey.
B = The number of Congregational settlements that were established as educational Christian colonies prior to the founding of Benzonia colony.
C = The number of years Benzonia College provided college-level education.
D = (A+B+C)/3
