This cache is located at Saltery Bay where you can watch the ferries come and go. Follow the road by the sign “SUNSHINE COAST TRAIL” from the highway, keeping right and close to the beach, the road branches to the bay. (The later part of this road may be a little rough.) Park here at the start of the Fairview Trail. Avoid the Escalator, and head to Harbour Point. Enjoy the view
This cache was set by the River City Girls Trefoil Guild, a member of Girl Guides of Canada and has crests and other a few other items.
If waiting for the ferry, allow one hour to get to the cache and return to the terminal.
Caution: They are building a new log dump and may be working. Just proceed with caution.
