This cache is located
at the Welcome Center on Highway US-127. This rest area is
unique as it is accessible to both the North & South
bound traffic in Clare County. The Welcome Center is at Mile
Marker 177.
During our "Va-cache -ion" to Yellowstone in 2005, we really
enjoyed doing the rest area caches. They were a chance to stop,
stretch our legs, and let the kids run a bit without detouring off
the highway and losing too much time. So, we are trying to help
Michigan get caches at all possible rest areas - one at a time!
You are looking for a small camouflaged, expandable
container. Please adjust the size if necessary. It's
big enough to hold small trade items and travel
bugs.
The area is accessible from
many directions, so please be aware. Please use extreme stealth ~
there are muggles coming from all ways. As always, make sure you
hide it as good or better than you found it!!!
When replacing the cache, please
return it to the spot where you found it!!! This cache
moved over 25 feet in less than six weeks!!!
