Turn off Highway 101 just south of milepost 182 on Cape Mountain Rd. Drive 3 miles to the Dry Lake trailhead.
The cache is located at the site of the former Cape Mountain Lookout tower. This tower was built in 1932 to spot forest fires. Park at the Dry Lake trailhead and follow the Nelson Ridge trail to the first right turn. From there follow your GPSr and geosenses. FTF gets a PDX geocoin or solid brass VW belt buckle.
