Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current Geocaching Guidelines.

Point Tuna Lighthouse is one of the oldest and still working lighthouses in Puerto Rico. Its located in the town of Maunabo at southeast corner of Puerto Rico. If you are coming in any of the directions (north or south) the routes will provide spectacular view from mountains and cliff, so don’t forget the camera!!. Enjoy the view.
From Maunabo you can go to Yabucoa were the Panoramic Route starts and goes thru the center of the island to the west and ends in Mayaguez.
Directions from the north (San Juan area)
Take #52 (South) to Caguas. On Caguas take #30 (South) to Humacao.
On Humacao take #53 (South) to Yabucoa.
At Yabucoa take #901 (South) to Maunabo.
On Maunabo take #760 until you get to the end of the road, that’s the entrance to the lighthouse. There you can park. Follow the trail to the beach, enjoy the view.
Directions from the south (Ponce area)
Take #52 (East) to Salinas. On Salinas take #53 to Guayama.
On Guayama take #54 and later #3 to Maunabo.
On Maunabo take #760 until you get to the end of the road, that’s the entrance to the lighthouse. There you can park. Follow the trail to the beach, enjoy the view.
The Cache is clear lock&lock. It contains Logbook, pencil, geocaching info letter in English/Spanish, Old Nike keychain and Petzl sticker.
NOTE: THE CACHE IS NOT INSIDE OF THE LIGHTHOUSE PROPERTY.
LONG PANTS AND LONG SLEEVE SHIRT IS RECOMMENDED BECAUSE OF THE OVERGROWN VEGETATION
