Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Southern Sierra Nevada Mtns on Sequoia National Forest land near the Blackrock Ranger Station.

From the Sherman Pass Road, turn north on Forest Service Road 21S03. Go about 3 miles and take the right fork where it says "Monache Jeep Trail". Look for Powell Meadow about a mile or two up the road. Park in the "fire safe area", and enjoy the view.

The cache is a traditional rubbermaid container camo'd up the hill. Look out for deer, rodents, and snakes. This is a wonderfully beautiful area of Central California, and I'm sure you will enjoy the area - bring a picnic lunch and some bug repellent!
