Geocache Description:

An offset multi-cache for rainy days and couch potatoes.

With so many soggy and/or rained out caching days so far this year, we thought it might be nice to have a cache that could be done in any weather, one where you don’t even have to leave your vehicle and don’t even have to roll down your window until you get to the final, hence the potential couch potato attraction. (Soft drinks and chips optional).

The final is a 30 MM ammo can mildly disguised to blend with its surroundings and placed within arms reach of the typical drivers seat. It is located at the following coordinates:

N 41*XX.ABC
W 072*XX.DEF

To complete the above coordinates however, you will be required to drive around town deciphering painfully easy clues from sites that range from historic, to interesting, to downright silly. You can do them in any order, but due to the price of gas these days, we have listed them with the most efficient C.P.M (cache per mile) in mind. So print this out, grab a pencil and hit the road!

1. N41*35.490 W072*37.320 There is one number cast into the historic item displayed here. Add to that, the number of letters in the noun that best describes this item. Let the sum replace “XX”.

2. N41*35.457 W072*37.469 What is the number of historic battles commemorated in raised lettering, minus the number of soldiers standing watch? The answer replaces “F”.

3. N41*34.534 W072*38.303 One percent of the number of “other minerals” as mentioned here replaces “B”.

4. N41*34.580 W072*38.681 There are four digits forming a number on the wall. Subtract the fourth from the second and let this replace “A”

5. N41*34.043 W072*38.631 A sign warns of a RR crossing. How many tracks? Let this number represent “D”.

6. N41*33.791 W072*37.518 Bet you wish you could really fill up here. How many garage bays at this filling station? Let this number represent “C”.

7. N41*33.936 W072*34.774 What single digit is redundantly displayed on the colorful obelisk? This replaces “E”.

Good luck!
