leave scented items in this cache or any cache in the
woods.
Part of a gas-saver in the Pitts-Tenney garnet mine on Route 119 in
Minot. It's really best to jump back onto the trail between caches.
Bushwacking here could lead you off a cliff. You'll need a strong
stomach to get past the bait station, but the rest of the trail is
quite enjoyable, though buggy. There is a snowmobile trail
maintained by the Minot Moonshiners Snowmobile Club, and mining is
still allowed here, with hand tools only. The cache is about a mile
from the gate. The container is inside a camo fabric envelope about
18" x 12" x 6".
