Cache is locted in Cedar Swamp. Parking at N 42 53.700,W 076 29.195.
A 1989 publication, Taking Time for Nature,A Guide to 25 Natural Areas in the Eastern Finger Lakes Area lists Cedar Swamp. This is a 4 acre parcel, part of a 300 acre swamp. The path from the road is quite overgrown, near the south edge of the woods, and is located near the parking coordinates. Look carefully for the trail opening next to the road.
Due to the proximatey of the swamp blood sucking creatures circled us while placing the cache. Also read recently that this area was used as the setting for a horror film concocted by local high school students. Coincidence?
The cache is an ammo box containing items loosely connected by the theme of numbers (hence the cache name).
