Geocache Description:

This little cache is located at the foot of the winding stair mountains in a place of history. You will enjoy hearing the sound of the wind in the pines as you search for it.

I hid this cache with the LostTexans in mind. They are fellow cachers in the Kiamichi Geocaching Association. We recently agreed to hide some caches for each other and I wanted to hide one for them. Call it payback, maybe.
As best I can tell, the LostTexans love three things in a cache:
1. History
2. Novelty
3. Beauty
So this one has all three. Enjoy.
Oh, and by the way, I found the place where I hid the cache after seeing a king snake slither past it. What does it mean if there is a king snake here? Yeah, so be careful.
Bring a camera. This cache is scenic as can be.
