Lost Lane Found Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

Meyers area, up Apache, cache at approx. 7,227 ft. elev.

Our first hide and we hope you enjoy it. Cache is in a ziploc plastic canister, 5.5 deep x 3.5 diameter. Contents include spiral log book, pencils, miscellaneous stuff from other cachers. Cache is .4 mi. as the crow flies from parking at Lost Lane (street sign may be missing); hike is approx. 1 mile, pretty steady uphill. Take trail at boulders on Lost Lane. There are three forks on this trail. For the second two, stay left on the main trail. See hint for the first fork. Nearing the cache, you'll reach a lookout with granite boulders. Directly downhill from the cache is an awesome lookout and picnic spot, with great view of the basin, twin peaks, mt. Tallac.
