From 1:00pm - 5:00pm
This is an afternoon of caching on the property of a private farm. This property has many different types of eco systems and topography that should provide great Geocaching Adventurers.
Registration will start at 1:00pm and the cache info will be 'handed out' at 1:30. This will give everyone an equal start time to find the 12+ caches that are hidden. There will be FTF certificates in 10 of the caches that can be traded in for a farming game worth $30. There will be micros, regular (filled with the usual swag) and large (filled with up scale swag).
The above coordinates will get you to the parking and registration 'area'.
At 4:00pm there will be a campfire started for people to sit around and talk or roast hotdogs and marshmallows. If you want something to eat or drink bring it.There will be a brief talk, TB exchange, door prize draw and FTF certificate prizes awarded.
Bring allong your TB's to trade or leave behind to start the 'TB Party Shack' that I'll hide shortly after the event.
Kids are very welcome to come however this is a large working farm and therefore has some dangers - Please keep children close to you and off of machinery.
Geo-Pooches are welcome too but on a leash and not near the cows please. There is no dog on the farm so the cows are not used to them.
Please give me an approximate number of people attending so we can be prepared.
This will hopefully be a day of discovery, fun and learning all wrapped into a Geocaching Event. Hope to see you there!
When the meeting is finished you may hang out and Geo-talk and if you would like to walk around the farm and say 'Hi' to the cows you may.
OR
Use the rest of the day caching in the area. I'll bet you haven't found ALL 96 caches that are within 15km of here.
