Adelboden, ein wunderschönes Bergdorf im Herzen des Berner Oberlandes. Im Winter lädt es zu wunderschönen Skiabfahrten ein, und im Sommer ist es ein Mekka für Wanderungen und Bergsteigen. Als ein langjähriger Freund dieses Dorfes und Liebhaber des Geocaching habe ich nun meinen 1. Cache auf einer meiner Lieblingsrouten untergebracht. Im Anschluß an diesen Multi-Cache und einer Ruhepause im Restaurant Schermtanne, kann im Anschluß noch locker der Cache „Adelboden“ geloggt werden. Zurück ins Dorf geht es dann entweder zu Fuß, oder in der Sommersaison mit der Rössli-Post (Planwagen mit Pferdegespann). Diese Tour ist mit Kindern und bergtauglichen Kinderwagen sehr gut zu gehen und dauert ca. 1,5- 2 Std`n bis zum Cache. Von dort ist es ca. noch eine weitere Stunde bis zur Schermtanne. Vorher, kann wer will, auch schon einen anderen Weg Richtung Dorf nehmen. Adelboden, a beautifull village in the heart of Berner Oberland. In winter you have beautifull slopes to ski on and in summer it is a mekka of mountaning, hiking or climbing, and even mountain biking. As a longtime friend of this village and a friend of geocaching, I decided to put my first cache here on one of my favorite routes. After having logged into my cache you find a great spot for having a brake in the restaurant Schermtanne, and being able to logg the second cache on this tour, by going to the cache „Adelboden“. Back to the village you can walk or, in the summer season, you can take the „Rössli Post“ from Schermtanne. It is a horse pulled plan waggon and a highlight for young and old ones. This tour ist possible for children and even mountain proved stollers. It takes app. 1,5 to 2 hours to the cache and another hour to the Restaurant Schermtanne. Ausgangspunkt / Startpunkt ist entweder das zentrale Parkhaus (es gibt nur eines), oder der Parkplatz an den obigen Koordinaten. (N46° 29.437 E007° 33.365). Beide sind gebührenpflichtig. Station/waypoint 1: Vom Parkplatz müsst ihr zunächst etwas ins Dorf zurück. Dort gibt es einen Platz wo ein Tier in Bronze steht. N46° 29.539 E007° 33.478 Notiert das Tier und schaut euch das Tier genau an. Der 7. Buchstaben steht an welcher Stelle im Alphabet? (A=1, B=2, C=3, usw.) Die gesuchte Zahl = A; (A + 539)= B >> HINT beachten << Addiere zur Jahreszahl auf der Gedenktafel die Zahl 36 und teile das Ergebnis durch 9. Das Ergebnis = C From the upper parking area under the above coordinates take a little walk back into the village. There is a place where a mountain animal is in bronze. Go to the animal note the german name and have a closer look. Take the letters of this animal and count the 7th letter. Which position in the alphabet has this letter? (count: A=1, B=2, C=3, ....) The number is A. >> Look Hint << Then count 539 + A = B Below the animal, there is a sign with a year mentioned. Add 36 to the year and divide through 9. The number you get is = C Station/waypoint 2: N 46° 29. ( B ) E 007° 33. ( C ) Zähle hier NUR die Eisenpfähle und addiere 1. Ergebnis ist Y. >>> Y x 8 = D und Y x 20 = E Alternativ, wenn ihr nicht sicher seid, bestimme den Buchstabenwert des Ortes, der einzeln steht. Wert = Y. Hier stehst Du vor einem Wegweiser mit Richtungs- und Zeitangaben. (Dieser befindet sich ca. 25m vorher) Please count here ONLY the Iron poles and add 1. The result is Y >>> Y x 8 = D and Y x 20 - 1 = E As an alternativ you see a name of a village and you build the amount of this village. (stand alone on the sign) A=1,B=2,C=3..... The result you will get is Y Here you` re standing at a waymark sign with directions and time info (this is approximatly 25m before) Station/ waypoint 3: N 46° 29. ( B+D ) E 007° 33. ( E ) Hier stehst Du vor einem Wegweiser mit Richtungs- und Zeitangaben. Nimm bei der Ortschaft , welche mehrfach auf dem Wegweiser erwähnt wird, den kleinsten Zeitbedarf. Here you find a waymark with directions and timetables on it. Take this village which is named several times on the pole and take there the shortes time. Rechnung 1: ( Adelboden (min.) x Fluhweid (min.) ) + 23 = F Rechnung 2: ( Taubenfels (min.) x Adelboden (min.) + (Taubenfels (min.) x Fluhweid (min.)) + 1 = G Station/ waypoint 4: N 46° 29. ( F ) E 007° 33. ( G ) Hier genießt Du eine wunderbare Aussicht auf das Dorf und das Lohner Massiv. Zähle die Sitzbänke (NUR die einfachen, nicht die doppelten), die Eisenpfähle (von rechts nach links im geraden Teil) und auf dem Weg hier hoch die Pfähle des Geländers über die Du von Station 3 bis hier gelaufen bist. Rechnung: ((Bänke x (Pfähle Aussicht x Pfähle Geländer) + 65) x 2 = H ( H x 2 ) - 17 = K Here you`ll have a great view over the village Adelboden and on to the Lohner Mountain. Count the benches (ONLY the single ones and NOT the double ones), the iron poles at the benches and the iron poles from the handrail on the way up here, from waypoint 3 to here. Count: ((benches x (poles x poles/handrail) + 65) x 2 = H ( H x 2 ) - 17 = K Auf dem Weg zum Finale kommt man an einem schönen Brünnlein vorbei, wo der Schweiß gekühlt werden kann. On the way to the final you will pass a little water barrel where you can get some cool water and can cool down your heat. Das Finale/ the final: N 46° 29 (( H : 2) + 44 ) E 007° 32. BITTE GEHT DEN CACHE NICHT VON OBEN AN und betretet nicht die abgesperrte Wiese!!! PLEASE DON` T APPROACH THE CACHE FROM ABOVE and do not go over the fenced area!!! Solltet Ihr etwas an dem Cache feststellen, was einen sofortigen Zugriff erfordert, so schreibt mir bitte eine Mail und ich setze mich sofort mit meinem Freund vor Ort in Verbindung. Ich selber bin etwa alle 6 Monate vor Ort. Zu guter Letzt: Bitte nehmt nur einen Coin oder TB pro Log, und lasst für die anderen auch noch etwas drin. Bitte tauscht wenn möglich gleichwertig. Last but not least: Please take only one item coin or TB and leave the rest for others to trade. Plaese trade equals if possible.
