Geocache Description:

This is a traditional cache placed at the banks of mountain Oros in the island of Aegina. Cache elvation is 364m. There is a mild slope gravel road leading to the cache.

Oros (1,745ft/532m), the "Mountain", also known as Profítis Ilías after a chapel on top of the hill, is the most prominent landmark in the Saronic Gulf.
The gravel road leading to the cache begins near the village of Pachia Rachi at (elev 249m):
N37 42.715
E23 29.896
You can drive your car for the 2/3 of the road. The rest I advise walking (15 min walk) unless you have an SUV. There are two reasons to go for the cache later in the day: Beautiful view to the West (hint: the sunset!) and no trees to offer shadow during summer.
On the way you will find: an archaeological site, and for those who dare, a path that leads to the summit.
Happy Geocaching!
