Geocache Description:


This cache is located near the home field of a high school where baseball is king. Its varsity team has won the title of Alabama 6A State Champions for the past two years, with a roster that includes the names of The Alabama Sports Writers Association's choices for the 2006 6A Player of the Year and 2006 6A Coach of the Year. These boys know how to play the game!

This cache can be accessed without approaching the school or athletic fields. Convenient parking can be found just south of Airport Boulevard at N 30 40.365, W 88 15.108. I hope that you enjoy this cache, and visit some of the other stops along the tour.

The cache container is a camouflaged 30 caliber ammo can. The original contents included a log book and pens, an "I Love Baseball" key chain, a baseball sweatband, a squishy baseball, a foam baseball, two baseball pencils, a plastic baseball egg, and several baseball trading cards.
