How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A common cache container in a common hide location along the Grabtown Gulch Trail in the Purisima Creek Open Space preserve. The cache is about 2 feet from the trail. As with all caches in this area GPS coverage is spotty so the co-ordinates may be off by a bit. Had an EPE of 46 ft when it was placed.

Cache is a cammo'd ammo can which contained various trinkets when it was placed including a log book, geocoin, $2 bill, and cache camera.

Please take your picture with the cache camera. I will develop the pictures when the camera is spent and post them to the site. Please post the number of exposures remaining when you log your find.

We hiked to the cache from PC03. A healthy 10 mile hike with about 2500 ft of elevation change can be had from there. If you are a bit more lazy, there are shorter routes. You will have to figure those out for yourself.
