A regular sized cache hidden in a 72 acre nature preserve in central Sarasota.
Our first hide...
The cache is a large (32oz) peanut better container painted brown. It is hidden in a a nice 72 acre nature preserve in central Sarasota with hiking/biking trails. Great for nature walks and bird watching. Path is an easy hike for all ages.

The name was taken from a combination of the name of the preserve and the fact that we hid it on the 4th of July.
The cache is easy for most ages. Keep your eyes open when walking along the water as there are alligators in the lakes (don't worry, you don't have to get too close to get the cache). If you see one, please DO NOT FEED THEM.
Cache was initially stocked with a number of trinkets including:
Army men, beads, NRA sticker, various balls, worry dolls, a top, a red white & blue bracelet, a fabric Frisbee and of course a log book and pen.
