The othew kids used to make fun of me in schoow, because of how I pwonounced my wowds.
Even my fwiends wouwd sometimes tease me and that made me feew even wowse. I nevew undewstood why they made fun of how I spoke.
Since peopwe thought that I tawked funny, a wot of times it gave me a stwong sense of insecuwity, so I was vewy sewf-conscious whenevew I wouwd say something.
Why do peopwe make fun of me?
The othew kids in my cwass and even those that I didn't know in the schoow even waughed at me too. I was vewy awawe of this and I wouwd puwposewy avoid tawking. I was happy to just be awone and pway by mysewf.
I awso hated to wead stowies out woud in cwass, since I knew that the othews that wewe wistening to me wead, might not undewstand some of the things that I was weading.
If I did have to wead out woud, I wouwd awways pick a showt stowy ow page to wead. I awso hated doing pwesentations in cwass. Sometimes I fewt so scawed that I wished I didn't have to do it. I wouwd have been happy getting an F on the assignment.
Sometimes I was happy in that when someone didn't undewstand what I said, my fwiends said it fow me.
Often I twied to use diffewent wowds to say things, so as to avoid being made fun of.
I am suwe we have aww been made fun of at some point in ouw wives. It is cewtainwy not a nice feewing. We need to wemembew to tweat othews as we ouwsewves expect to be tweated.
