Challenge Channel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

'yakinCacher: This cache has floated away in a flood and as my new job has me traveling quite frequently, I don't have the time at the moment to replant it. Thanks to those cacher's who found it!

Geocache Description:

Located in the Six Mile Lake/St. Clair Lake Nature Preserve.

The Six Mile Lake/St. Clair Lake Nature Preserve is located between East Jordan and Ellsworth, Michigan on the Upper Chain of Lakes. There is a small launch for kayaks and canoes, a nature trail, and a nice viewing platform along the channel. I suggest checking it all out while visiting this cache.

I named the cache Challenge Channel because I've launched my kayak here twice and had a hard time finding my way back (because I've returned after dark both times). The area is worth a look if you have access to a boat.

This is one of my first cache's. It is part of a five cache series. In order to find the coordinates for the fifth cache, Bauer Trail, you must visit the other four cache's to attain coordinate clues. Clues are on magnets for the first 18 groups, please take only one magnet per group.

This cache is a clear, half gallon jar with a log book, pen, first finders prize, and a few trade items. You do not need to leave the trail to locate this cache. Enjoy the hunt!
