Geocache Description:

This cache was placed for the Maryland Geocaching Society summer picnic. Visit www.mdgps.org.

October 2011 - The new container is a water proof canister a bit larger than a film can. You will find it tucked away in a nice hiding spot.

The cache is a clear Lock N Lock container stocked with a log book, and tool type items with a few special pieces of geoswag. The cache is located near the Patuxent Rural Museums, located within the 6,000-acre Patuxent River Park. There are a collection of museums and farm buildings dedicated to preserving the heritage of southern Prince George's County. There are seven buildings at the site: The Duvall Tool Museum, the Blacksmith Shop, the Farriar and Tack Shop, a Tobacco Farming Museum, and the 1880 Duckett Log Cabin with its privy, chicken coop, and meat house.
