Alden Bird Sanctuary Traditional Geocache

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Alden Bird Sanctuary to find out about the status of this cache on October 15, 2008. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Geocache Description:


This is my first cache. After finding 30 I decided to make my own. The container is a long camouflaged plastic tube and is in a wonderful sanctuary on town owned land. There is a gorgeous pond with lovely birds and wildlife. The best time to go is at sunrise because it is beautiful. In addition, the path is very visible. However, the grass can occasionally be up to your knees. Also, after large rain storms the path can become muddy and have large puddles. Caution: wear bug spray the mosquitoes are fierce. Last, to get to the cache park behind the Alden Elementary School or Duxbury Middle School. All of these are off of Alden St. There is no need to walk across any marsh, golf course, or go on school property to get to the cache. Please only use the path. The waypoint listed below is the parking for the cache.
