Geocache Description:

This cache is a medium sized ammo box hidden in Acadia Valley. It is near the tallest
building (101 feet) which is also a Museum, tea house, gift shop and a high speed internet tower.

Cache is available year round and a short walk (40 meters) from parking area.

This a great place to have tea and take a tour of the elevator during the summer months.
Please watchout for motorized mini muggles! (Kids on quads and dirt bikes).
There are washrooms nearby in the Cafe. A store and garage are also located in town.

Here are some great photos of the elevator from 1920 to 2005. Photos

This elevator was built in 1968 and has a capacity of 85,000 bushels of grain.

A article at Royal Alberta Museum about the history of grain elevators called Finding Our Way Home.
