Snapparp Hotel Traditional Cache
fairhair: Checked it today. It's definitely gone. I thought it would be a safe location, but obviously it wasn't. There's little reason to have a cache here except for TB exchange but then it must be safe, so I archive it now. There haven't been many TBs in it either. Pity there should be one when it got muggled. There was some good stuff in the cache from the start. Let's hope the cachers that have found it managed to swap that for the usual crap before the muggles got there.

En stor burk nära en rastplats
A large box close to a lay-by
Varför inte ta en paus i körningen, stanna vid Snapparp, njut av utsikten mot Lagaoset, hitta en cache och kanske plocka upp eller lämna en Travel Bug.
Cachen är en fyra liters plastburk som från början innehöll lite saker för barn i olika åldrar samt en TB. Den ligger lite avskilt på västra sidan, men kan nås från båda hållen eftersom det finns en väg under motorvägen norr om rastplatsen. Det finns även en gångtunnel i närheten av restaurangen.
Why not make a brake, stop at Snapparp, enjoy the view over the estuary of Lagan, find a cache and perhaps pick up or drop off a Travel Bug.
The cache is a four litre container, from the start containing a few things for children of different ages plus a TB. It's placed on the west side, but you can reach it from both directions because there is a road under the motorway just north of the lay-by. There is also a pedestrian tunnel close to the restaurant.
