Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Duck Nest Worth Puzzling Over Cipher-Busters Intermediate Challenge, located on Jefferson County Forest Worth Lot.

The coordinates above are only for a convenient nearby road intersection. The actual coordinates are revealed by solving the puzzle below.

If you've never seen one before, a little internet research will reveal the concept behind a Vigenere cipher (also search "Louis Carrol" cipher.) However, for those that want an extra challenge I have not given you my key. The hint below is a hint to the cipher key; a hint to the cache location is contained within the cipher text. Most of the plain-text message is stereotypical in geocaching context- that is, it contains coordinates spelled out.

The container here is a medium rectangular lock-and-lock with camo duct tape. It is near the same general area as the old DNWPO stage 2. It should remain findable in up to about 6 inches of snow, but more than that will reduce the odds. You will also find a security feature associated with this cache; if you have questions or comments about this feature please email privately, and do not describe it in your log. Cache is in pine, so the enciphered coordinates may only have 30-40 feet accuracy. However, the hint within the cipher will help, and this is not an especially clever hide.

FTF Honors belong to the Callaway Cadets. First Dog to Find was Koda the Keeshond, of Lear08 & Jana's team. First Kid to Find was a younger member of TheBush's team. Congrats!
