The first part of the cache is easy, handicap accessible but from here information is needed at the first site to find coordinates for the second half which is uneven and overgrown some. Near the final location is a nice park with picnic tables, playground equipment and ball diamonds for kids.
The cache its self is a gallon size container but does have a small opening so some large items may not fit. I am trying for a sports themed cache this cache is starting out with a golf ball, a hockey puck, a carabiner, sunglasses, sports trivia cards, and kid toys with sporting action and items involved.
Laurium, Michigan is the birth place and home town of George Gipp. Famous for his football playing at Notre Dame and has even had films made of him. In one Ronald Reagan played the famous George Gipp aka "The Gipper". Also if interested stop by the other cache at the Gipp Memorial where you can see plaques and bricks that were contibuted to build this monument and some names included are Ronald Reagan and Regis Philben.
