The Return Of South Lake Park Cache

This is the newest park that Oklahoma City has built in over twenty years and what a glorious park. Come out and spend the day with the family as there is an unbelievable play area for kids of all ages(Okay, I knew I shouldn't have but we didn't have these types of jungle gyms when I was growing up), soccer fields, a great trail system for walkers and joggers, several ponds with plenty of ducks and geese (but leave the food at home, no feeding the animals),some really well design basket ball courts, plenty of water faucets and picnic pavillions, and some really nice rolling hills overlooking the ponds. So what better way to celebrate this park's opening than to place a conventional cache here!

That is what I wrote in September 2004 when this park opened up and I had the original South Lake Park cache here. Of course in December 2005 it got muggled and disappeared. Well now it has come back from the ashes of the dead. So what you are looking for is a 30 caliber ammo box that has a Darkmoon Stealth camo job on it and hidden in a beautiful and peaceful part of the park, in fact not far off from the original cache. Filled with goodies for all ages and of course the logbook! This is a straight forward have a nice day in the park cache. I know, this is not a typical Darkmoon cache but don't worry, there is some PI if you don't choose your route the right way. So enjoy this park and this cache and please put it back how you found it!
