Here is number eleven in our Fallin' For Virginia cache series.
This is another beautiful but "unknown" waterfall of Southwest
Virginia.
Falls Hill Creek tumbles down the mountain to shortly join the
North Fork of the Holston River. Along the way, it forms two falls
(35 feet and 20 feet high respectively). Here you get two falls for
the price of one plus a narrow ravine which forms a pretty rock
flume.
Walk back up the road for about 120 feet to get the best view of
the larger falls. There is no need to leave the road to view the
falls or to find the cache.
Mother Nature was trying to out do herself with this one. Please
bring your camera and please put the cache exactly back where
you found it.
Very close by is our Fallin For Virginia V - Cabin Creek cache
(GCWQ2K). Yes, this one is number eleven and in less than
two miles is number five. What can we tell you. We take 'em
as we see 'em or in other words, we cache them as we find them.
Enjoy and have a good caching day.
