Welcome to the park I spent many hours playing in as a child -- The Plainview Old Bethpage Community Park. A great town park with 1 baseball field, 1 softball field, 3 pools (kiddie, regular and high dive), a nice playground, tennis courts, a very active handball court, and most importantly a nice little trail system.
This is our very first cache and was created with my 7 yr. old daughter and my 5 yr. old son. We picked the spot together (although the kids new exactly where they should hide it).
We all had a great time putting it together and would love your feedback!
The cache is a medium sized rectangular rubbermaid container (which is stuffed to the brim -- the kids wanted to put in as much as possible because they love treasure hunting and finding great prizes). These trails are very active in the evenings with the local kids -- please hide it as well as you found it.
