Saw-whet #2 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

onecrazycanadian: Hi,

It has been over 2 weeks since I last contacted you. Due to the lack of response toward my last note I am archiving the cache at this time. If you should happen to make the necessary corrections feel free to contact me via my profile and I will be glad to unarchive the cache and take another look at it for publishing.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

This is one of 4 caches placed adjacent to the Saw-whet Trail, a part of the Trans Canada Trail system. Except for the cache, please stay on the trail.

The cache is in a clear tupperware container and contains a log book, pencil and several articles for trade. The Saw-whet trail was named after the Saw-whet Owl which is very rare and has been noted to be seen in the vacinity of parts of the trail. Attached are two documents which give more information about the trail. Parking can be found at N50 38.020 W104 55.221 which is the trail head. There are some big dogs in the area, but are quite friendly and will cause you no problem. The Saw-whet Trail is very scenic, with great views of the Qu'appelle Valley, a variety of flora and fauna and wildlife and I encourage you to take the whole trip (if you do you will run across all the caches!) The trail is only open during daylight hours.

More information is available on the Trans Canada Trail System at (visit link)
